• The Fastback & London Bridge audio course
Fastback & London Bridge Studios offers professional recording classes that will teach you the art of recording. You will have hands on training in two of Seattle’s classic recording studios taught by professional working engineers and producers. With one on one, group teaching and extensive hands on opportunities, this course will help you become an experienced and knowledgeable audio engineer.
The recording course is divided into five, eight-week segments. The program of study will include:
• Pro-Tools and console usage
• How to record, edit & mix
• Monitor placement
• Room acoustics
• Analog mic-pre's, compressors & EQ's
• Interfaces
• Plug-ins
• MIDI
• Microphones and mic-placement
• Knowledge of instrument's
• The business of recording
• Actual recording of class project and more.
• Private Protool lessons.
Weather you need help from the beginning simply connect your system or you wish to learn more complex tricks and shortcuts to become a power user. Our engineers have all spent years working with Protools and can help you get up and running quickly.
Our engineer charge $40 / hr for in studio training. $55 / hr to train at your place.
